I am Lion Ujjal S Kular, your District Governor.
I would like to share my Lions Journey with you so you know me better.
I became a member of the Lions family on 23rd January 1995 and joined Taverham & District Lions Club, it was also my son’s birthday as it happened to be.
I served on various committees of the Club, and became the Chair of the Social Committee in the first year. This suited me fine, and I had a fantastic time for three years, organising events, outings and Charter functions.
I then became the Club President and served two separate terms. I became a Zone Chairman multiple times and I enjoyed this post very much; I was able to meet Lions further afield and learn more from them about the Lions organisation.
Serving on the District became a pleasurable habit as I took on responsibility for:
I am also a former serviceman, having served in the RAF, and have pleasant memories.
I am married to Manjit and have a grown-up family and two grandchildren.

- District L.C.I.F. Liaison Officer
- District Physical and Learning Disabilities Officer
