District Global Leadership and Membership Team Leader
Lion Alan Hall
In 1991 I became a Charter Member of Glanford & Lindsey Lions Club,
and during my membership of Lions Clubs International I have held various posts including; Club Membership Officer, Club Secretary, Club President, Zone Chairman, District Governor, and I am presently the District GLMT Coordinator, District LCIF Coordinator, Deputy MD GMT Coordinator as well as a Club Director and Trustee.

I pride myself in obtaining a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding Lions Clubs International, having completed all the on-line training modules and various training sessions including the Advanced Lions Leadership Institute, which hopefully has enhanced my leadership ability within the District.
Although my current responsibilities are for the Global Leadership & Membership Teams and the Lions Clubs International Foundation, I am more than willing to provide assistance for any Lion or Club requiring advise or help in any Lions matters; just contact me.

District Leadership Team
Lion Derek Rutter
I joined Lions in 1988, and currently I am immediate Past President. I have been a Multiple District Officer, latterly as Speech and Hearing Officer, which post I held for 6 years. I am also a trained Deaf Awareness Trainer.
I have been GLT District co-ordinator for three years in the past and am now on the second year of my current appointment. I see my role in encouraging all Lions to take advantage of the training opportunities available within Lions Clubs International there is some first class training available which will enhance your performance both within Lions and in the outside world.

GMT Membership Retention Officer
Lion Colin Talbot
Proud Lion of 33 years plus service, having been a member of Brentwood, Romford and recently Clacton on Sea, after moving home. My working life has been dealing with the public as a police officer then upon retirement a CCTV Consultant for a London Council.
I have served as Region and Zone Chairperson, at Club level President, Secretary, Fund Raising and P.R/Press Officer.  I am a certified Guiding Lion working with Hornchurch, a recently formed club. My role in my club is Fund Raising Chairman and a member of the Membership Team.
My goal to analyse the reasons for members leaving, pass this information back to the clubs for these issues to be addressed combined with self-assessment to attract/keep prospective members.

GMT Young Farmers Liaison
Lion Steve Scall
I live with my daughter Laura in Boughton, having moved from Edwinstowe after 33 years. My son lives near Newark with partner Jenny and my fantastic grandson Finley.
I work for a local community newspaper, having retired from retirement! A Lion since 1996, involved with all aspects of club life, I came to understand the service ethos and helping the community.  Having thoroughly enjoyed four years as President of Edwinstowe & The Dukeries, the club honoured me with an MJF.
Having served as DG in 2018/19, I oversaw the joining of EA & E into CE, a very successful union where I continue to take an active part. I recently transferred to Southwell & District and am the fundraising chair. On Cabinet, I am on the ROAR team, running in primary schools in all 8 districts. And, the Young Farmers Liaison, a great opportunity to work together with an emphasis on hunger and environment.
