Retired from IT industry Sales Director in 2006. Lion since 2007. Past and current President, past Fundraising Chairman (4 times), past PRO (3x) and past International Officer (9 years). Zone Chair (3 years), District Sight / LEHP (3 years), District PRO (2 years), DG 2017-18, current District International Team Leader.
The International Officer role is about looking beyond Club, District, Multiple District and building relationships with Lions across the globe, being aware of what is happening in Lionism, whether ideas in clubs or districts, or even Oak Brook which might be of interest to members in CE. With Certified Guiding Lion training and experience of being an LCI employee on New Club Development, I hope to support Twinning, LCIF and International Project Officers as required. |

I joined the Lions Clubs International organisation in 1995 and became a member of Taverham & District Lions Club which is just north of the City of Norwich. I am and have remained a member of Taverham Lions throughout my Lions Life.
I served with various committees in the Club and also served twice as the Club President. While being involved with my Club I also took responsibilities in the District affairs and served multiple times as a Zone Chair, Physical and Learning Disabilities officer, Club extensions officer to mention a few. I served as a District Governor in the Lions year 20-21, and then became the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee 21-22 as a natural progression from DG position. This year I have joined the International Team as the International Projects Officer. I will be reporting on the various projects that are currently running and any new projects that may develop. I am looking forward to serve my fellow Lions. |

In 1991 I became a Charter Member of Glanford & Lindsey Lions Club,
and during my membership of Lions Clubs International I have held various posts including; Club Membership Officer, Club Secretary, Club President, Zone Chairman, District Governor, and I am presently the District GLMT Coordinator, District LCIF Coordinator, Deputy MD GMT Coordinator as well as a Club Director and Trustee. I pride myself in obtaining a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding Lions Clubs International, having completed all the on-line training modules and various training sessions including the Advanced Lions Leadership Institute, which hopefully has enhanced my leadership ability within the District. Although my current responsibilities are for the Global Leadership & Membership Teams and the Lions Clubs International Foundation, I am more than willing to provide assistance for any Lion or Club requiring advise or help in any Lions matters; just contact me. |

I joined Boston Lions 22 years ago then moved to Worcester Lions where l was President, Zone Chair and Region Chair. Move back to Lincoln where l have been President and Zone Chair.
I have been the Twinning Officer for the District for 4 years. I have twinned with France, Germany, Netherlands and with help Romania. I have enjoyed my time in Lions and last was presented with the MJF which l am very proud to hold. |
