Lion Ian Constable
District Governor (2026-27)
Hello, my name is Ian of the Lions Club of Littleport and from the 01 July 2026 I am honoured to serve as the District Governor of 105CE.

My aim for the year ahead is simple: to grow our association and represent the incredible members of the Lions Family who make up our District.

While I carry the title of District Governor, I remain, at heart, just a Lion.

I have been part of the Lion's family for over thirty years, having joined as a Leo in 1994.

Throughout my journey, Lions has given me countless opportunities and unforgettable experiences. Becoming District Governor is my way of giving something back to an organisation that has given me so much.

The past two years have been a period of preparation - now is the time to make a difference.

This year, my focus will be on our membership: supporting Lions to learn, develop, and grow, so that they can become even better in the service they provide.

In my professional life, I describe myself as a Civil Engineer, and I understand the importance of strong foundations. That is why I believe with more satisfied Lions this should help us to expand our membership and allow us to do more service for the communities we serve.

I look forward to serving next to you by, 'Planting Service - Growing Hope'.

Lion Verdun Webley
Vice District Governor (2026-27)

Hi, I’m Lion Verdun Webley, MJF, a member of Southwell and District Lions Club (CIO) and proud to have been elected at your Vice District Governor for 2026– 2027 and look forward to serving you all.

During my term as 2nd Vice District Governor I have had the privilege of visiting many of the clubs in our district and learning how diverse and dedicated each club is as well as the enthusiasm shown by all the members. I have also been able to assist some clubs with a variety of problems, which is just what the district team is for.

During the next year I hope to continue my visits to other clubs, enjoying the company of my fellow lions, learning from each encounter and helping wherever I can.

I have successfully completed numerous training sessions both on-line and in face-to-face sessions. The knowledge gained and partnerships made has enabled me to serve our district more efficiently and effectively already and will do so into the future.

I will continue my training and linking with the other Vice District Governors both at home, throughout Europe, and the world. Already we are working together to progress our organisation, bring forward new ideas, increase membership, and
serving our communities more effectively.

I look forward to meeting many more of you, meeting old friends, making new ones, and helping whenever the opportunity arises.

Lift others, Include everyone, Offer help, Nurture kindness, Serve with a smile

Lion David King
2nd Vice District Governor (2026-27)

My Lions journey began over thirty-three years ago with Lowestoft Leo Club. Some of my most memorable experiences as a Leo include attending a Lions International Youth Camp in Ontario, Canada, and taking part in Operation Lion Heart in Croatia in 1996. I also had the privilege of serving as District 105EA Leo President in 1996/97.

In 2001, I went on to help charter New Century Lions Club of East Anglia. As my club prepares to celebrate its 25th birthday in 2026/2027, I feel immensely proud of everything we have achieved and the service we have given to our communities over the years.

As a charter member of New Century Lions, I have contributed at Club, Zone and District levels for more than two decades. This has included serving six terms as Club President and being a member of the Romanian Pride team since 2004. I currently serve as District Convention Chair and am honoured to have been elected as 2nd Vice District Governor for 2026/2027.

As I move into this next stage of my Lions journey, I am looking forward to supporting our clubs, strengthening membership and encouraging service across the district. For me, Lions has always been about ordinary people doing extraordinary things together, and I am excited to continue playing my part in that story.
