Lion Peter Wallwork
I am a semi-retired Chartered Civil and Transportation Engineer, working on various projects outside the UK. I was invited to join Huntingdon Grafham Water Lions in 2008. I was President of my Club in 2012/13 and the Club Treasurer since 2017. I have been the Zone Chair for Zone 1B for 2019/20 and 2020/21.
My main role as Region Chair is to ensure that communications between Cabinet, Zones, Clubs and Lions are effective and two-way. Regular communication will ensure that  success in retaining and gaining members, providing Service and raising funds are recognised and shared widely. I have seen, in the past, how poor communications has led to Clubs feeling unsupported and members questioning the value of membership

Lion Ken Baxter
I originally joined lions with Downham Market club in 1992, holding many different positions including Secretary and President until work pressure forced me to leave for a time.
I re-joined again with Downham Mkt in 2009 and now find myself with Kings Lynn having just finished a nineteen-month spell as President.
My working life has taken me all over the UK in many different guises within the retail sector, this giving me a good insight working and talking to people until I retired a few years back.
My aims as Zone Chair are to ignite, Enthusiasm, Comradeship and above growth back into the Zone after such a difficult time.

Lion Alan Edmunds
I joined Wisbech Lions Club in 2016.  I served as Club President 2020-2021 and was re-elected for 2021-22.  I have developed our social media presence and set up a ‘Friends of’ Facebook group.  I am passionate about learning and sharing information and in developing links with Lion worldwide.
As Zone 1b Chair my role will be to provide a link between clubs in my Zone and District Cabinet. Sharing good ideas is an important part of learning, we should Borrow with Pride. I am also a problem solver.  My role will also be to help identify potential leaders.
I will make arrangements for club representatives to attend Zone meetings after the District Cabinet meeting to ensure timely sharing of information takes place and feedback is available.

Lion Tim Watts
I joined the Lions Club of Leigh on Sea around 2014 and have just finished a year as club president. I have previous experience of serving on the district cabinet as a zone chairman in both districts EA and CE.
My main focus has always been on the community/welfare side of Lions operations and that will continue to be my passion.
My aims going forward are firstly to support the clubs in my zone to restart normal operations and get out there supporting their communities once more. Anything else is a bonus but I believe that learning from each other and collaborating is the route to future success. We should look to recruit the volunteers that emerged during the pandemic as future Lions.

Lion Sue Cowee
I Joined Leigh-On Sea Lions club in 1992. I joined this club as it was the 1st mixed club in EA. During my time there I was president for the club and helped in the recruitment of young ambassadors. When I left, I received an MJF.  The reason i left was due to a house move to Norfolk. I grew up in Essex and moved to Norfolk in 2012. Not long after moving I joined Wymondham Lions club. this was only for a short time as I then helped set up Attleborough 2013 Lions Club. During my time at Attleborough Lions club I have been president 3 times and have been Zone chair and Region chair for Zone 3. I am currently Still region chair for region 3, and after the last 18 months I am thoroughly looking forward to meeting with other clubs and helping and supporting them when I can.

I originally joined Lions in 1992 with Leigh-On-Sea Lions Club. This was the first Mixed club in EA. This was the reason I joined this club as I joined with my wife Sue. I retired in 2011 after many, many years as a painter and decorator (too many years for me to remember). I grew up in Essex and lived there until 2012 when I moved to Norfolk. Before I moved I received MJF from Leigh-On-Sea Lions.. After Moving I Joined Wymondham for a short time before Attleborough 2013 Lions club was set up. I have been President for Attleborough Lions twice. I have been a guiding Lion, I have also been Zone Chair for Region 3A and I am now Zone chair for Region 3C.

I joined Beccles and District Lions Club in 2007 and for the last 2 years I have been Club President.
I joined Lions hoping my small contribution could be a part of the bigger aim of
Lionism, that of helping others and to make a difference within the community, whilst still having fellowship and fun with friends.
I’ve managed to maintain this aim throughout my time as a Lion and I’ve been a part of some really wonderful moments. Going forward I believe with a great deal of encouragement and enthusiasm then all the members within Zone 4C can have that same fellowship and fun with friends, plus as Lions together we can make that difference within the community too.

I have had 2 periods in Lions separated by years when travelling the world and raising a family with my wife Frances.
During my time in Lions I have served in various roles within my clubs and districts and am a proud holder of an MJF. During last year I served as zone 5c chair.
As Region 5 chair I am be available to everyone, especially being available to assist the Zone Chairs.
I hope to advance the social side of Lions as well as advancing out 5 global causes. I will endeavour to visit zone meetings and charter celebrations, as well as visiting as many clubs as possible. Hopefully, every meeting will be face to face, if not then via zoom.
Ideally, I would like every zone within the region to join forces sometime during the year to promote a single project.

I joined Caistor and District Lions almost 10 years ago.  Since then I have been President twice, Secretary twice, membership secretary and IT Officer.  During those  years I have supported the club in many of their activities and especially enjoyed being the virtual Santa to the local primary schools last Christmas.
This year will be the fourth year in a row I have been Zone Chair for the local six clubs. During this rebuilding year, I will continue to support these wonderful clubs and be their link to the District.
This year I will promote the amazing International Projects that our District supports, reminding all the clubs of the wonderful work they do and their continual need for funds.

Lion Mike Harrison
Hello, my name is Mike Harrison and I am both excited and honoured to be the chair of Zone 5C. I am Vice-President of Loughborough Lions Club and I have had a fast and exciting journey as a Lion since becoming a member after Feeding of the 5000 in Leicester in Autumn 2018. I am 31, married to the incredibly beautiful Christine Harrison and have 2 young girls Naomi 4 and Hannah 2 who fortunately have inherited their Mother's looks! I am a professionally qualified Youth and Community Worker and have a degree in Theology. Much of my youth and community work is done voluntarily these days for my church and for Lions with my paid job being a Customer Delivery Driver for Tesco.
As a new Lion who is still going through the ranks at club level I have always wanted to support the incredible work done by the cabinet team but never expected to be approached this early in my Lion journey! However, I really want to support the wonderful work done by clubs in Zone 5C and so I accepted the offer. Already I have been blown away by some of what our clubs are doing; their determination, creativity and resistance shown during the pandemic and more than anything their BIG LION HEARTS to serve their communities in any way they can.
My 3 main goals as a Lion and as a Zone 5C chair are:-
1) To ensure that each Lion member enjoys being a member as much as I do
2) To help Lions to have the reputation, appreciation and recognition within my generation and the next to come that Lions have had in previous years.
3) To identify, nurture and develop new 18-30's Lions members that can lead us as a body of Lions into the years to come.
If I can be of any use please do get in contact, we are all in this together! I cannot say that I will be able to answer every question about Lions but I can find someone or sign post you to someone who will know.

Lion Derek Blow
Hello from Lion Derek Blow member of Louth & District Lions Club and Region Chair for Region 6
I have been a member of our outstanding organisation for several years and throughout this time I have had a thoroughly enjoyable time and have had the opportunity to serve in most club officer positions during this time. For many years I have also had the opportunity to be invited to serve on the Cabinet for many District Governors and enjoyed the good spirit of the Lions family within those Districts and hopefully gained valuable knowledge and experience throughout.
My working career has been spent in farm machinery and consider that it has given me a sound grounding in engineering, practical skills and hopefully some common sense. Through my time as a Lion and working career my aim has been to work hard, play hard and most importantly enjoy life with your family.
My aim and objective as Region Chair, to support the Zone Chairs with their duties in the Zone and assist when required. Support Clubs within the Region and the District Governor Team whilst promoting D.G. Lion David Pope with his goals and International Global Causes. As Region Chair, I would like the opportunity to visit all the clubs in the region and gain an understanding of club member concerns and promote our great District of 105CE.
If there are any questions, concerns or just a general enquiry please feel free to call or e-mail me at any time.
