International Team
The International Team has 3 parts - Twinning, LCIF and International Projects.
Under Twinning are our relations with our Twin Districts - France 103 Nord, Germany 111NH, The Netherlands 110CO, Romania District 124 and just added in 2022, a Twinning Agreement with Ireland District 133. Any ideas on Joint Projects we could undertake with our Twin Districts would be most welcome.
Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is the Lions Charity Foundation and complements the service provided by Lions by providing charitable grants to causes all over the world. Over £1.1 billions has been awarded in grants by the Foundation. Also included in LCIF are either awards to members, the Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) and Bert Mason Humanitarian Award.
International Projects are those larger projects which are beyond the capability of one single District. Included here are projects such as the Eye Surgery Training Hospital at Korle Bu in Ghana, Gift for Living and LIBRA.
