Moorfields Lions Korle Bu Trust
Working with partner organisations locally, Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Lions Clubs International have committed to helping provide a solution to the problem of avoidable blindness across West Africa by establishing a unique and sustainable ophthalmic facility dedicated to the provision of surgical skills training in sub-specialist subjects (e. G. Cataract, lid, glaucoma), continuing medical education and treatment of all eye disease.
We are busy raising funds to cover the cost of a new Lions International Eye Centre which is located at Korle Bu in Ghana - one of the largest teaching hospitals in West Africa. The eye centre helps people suffering with potentially blinding eye conditions.
