Planting Service - Growing Hope
Hello, my name is Ian of the Lions Club of Littleport and from the 01 July 2026 I am honoured to serve as the District Governor of 105CE.
My aim for the year ahead is simple: to grow our association and represent the incredible members of the Lions Family who make up our District.
While I carry the title of District Governor, I remain, at heart, just a Lion.
I have been part of the Lion's family for over thirty years, having joined as a Leo in 1994.
Throughout my journey, Lions has given me countless opportunities and unforgettable experiences. Becoming District Governor is my way of giving something back to an organisation that has given me so much.
The past two years have been a period of preparation - now is the time to make a difference.
This year, my focus will be on our membership: supporting Lions to learn, develop, and grow, so that they can become even better in the service they provide.
In my professional life, I describe myself as a Civil Engineer, and I understand the importance of strong foundations. That is why I believe with more satisfied Lions this should help us to expand our membership and allow us to do more service for the communities we serve.
I look forward to serving next to you by, 'Planting Service - Growing Hope'.

MD105 Youth Camp - Loughborough Legends

Lions of Multiple District 105 (British Isles) will be hosting a Youth Camp from 10th to 19th August, based in Loughborough. It's a wonderful opportunity for friendhsip, fun and making great memories. Lions are invited to attend any of the activities, to meet the participants and help share the hosting (participants are between the ages of 18 and 21). Join Lions Feed the 5000
Join Lions Clubs International – District 105CE for a free community celebration of sustainability, food and people coming together. Lions Feed the 5000 Norwich will transform surplus food into delicious hot meals, with the aim of feeding 5,000 people while raising awareness of food waste, environmental action and practical ways to protect our planet.
About Lions Feed the 5000
Each Feed the 5000 event provides members of the public with a delicious free feast made entirely from fresh, top-quality ingredients that would otherwise have gone to waste. The original Feeding the 5000 campaign was created by Feedback, an environmental organisation founded by Tristram Stuart and dedicated to ending food waste while promoting sustainability and resourcefulness across the food chain.
Lions Clubs International – District 105CE has previously organised Feed the 5000 events in Leicester (see below), Colchester and Lincoln. This year, Lions are bringing the event to The Forum in Norwich, combining the goal of feeding 5,000 people with a sustainability showcase. Find more info here.

District Convention 2027
Ufford Park Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort
19th-21st March 2027
District Convention 2027 is set to be an incredible event! Ufford Park Hotel, Golf & Spa is set in 120 acres of parkland, located just off the A12, at the gateway to Suffolk’s Heritage Coastline and only 10 miles from Ipswich.
Ufford Park Woodbridge features numerous facilities such as a health club with swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room. A thermal suite spa with trained therapists is also available. For golfing enthusiasts there is a championship 18-hole course, two tier floodlit driving range, practice putting greens and a teaching academy.
District Governor Elect Lion Ian Constable and the host team are looking forward to welcoming you and will ensure that all will have a great time.

Welcome to Lions District 105CE, a service organisation dedicated to serving those in need. We have over 1000 members in 86 clubs across the District, serving hundreds of thousands each year.
As part of Lions Clubs International, the largest global voluntary service organisation, we help tens of millions each year through our membership of 1.4 million across some 200 countries. For example, in our 2021-2022 year, we served 495 million people across the world in over 1.4 million separate service activities. |
