International Projects Overview
International Projects is a part of the International Team portfolio, providing information as to how the Clubs of District 105CE can get involved and support these International Projects.
There are many projects running at any one-time and can be categorised as follows:
Global Causes: These are projects driven from s global perspective and comprise Vision, Hunger, Childhood Cancer, Diabetes and Environment, 5 global causes that have been running for several years. Youth, Disaster Relief, Humanitarian causes are more recent additions to our global efforts to support those in need.

UK Lions Long-term Overseas Projects: These are projects launched in the UK We have long-term projects like Korle-Bu (eye hospital) in Ghana; this project is complete; however, the work continues training doctors to use the facilities.
UK Lions Overseas Projects: These are overseas projects created by and supported by Lions of District 105CE and include: LIBRA, Sight Savers, UNICEF, Water Aid, Gift for Living.
International Projects can be “partner projects” like Korle-Bu or “Service projects” like Hunger and Environment.
