Did you know, your Lions Club can help support your local primary schools and inspire children to 'think big' and 'dream big', creating world changing ideas!!

The Lions ROAR Programme is first Multiple District Youth Programme since 90's, it is an absolutely fantastic programme and since the start of the programme, Lions have engaged over 100,000 children, vastly enriching their learning, and Lions have had great fun on the way too.

The ROAR programme is digital and is organised and run by 8billionideas the award-winning education company.

Your Lions Club can sponsor as many schools as they wish, clubs have sponsored between one and ten schools in recent years, enriching the learning experience in their local primary schools. It is a £185 well spent on this brilliant Youth service project. The programme can also be linked to other youth programmes such as Wild Tribe Heroes and The Peace Poster.

To learn more about the ROAR Programme, take a look at the videos below and visit The LIONS ROAR Website.

There are a couple of Lions within our District that can hep you better understand ROAR, Sue Denton and Jaime Speed our District ROAR Officers. For more information about the ROAR programme feel free to contact them.

Ideally, your Club should agree to fund & run the programme by end of February / March, the Club should engage with schools and get their agreement to run the programme by end May / June, and then your Club can help the schools in the autumn term to run the programme. School Finals are held in November, followed by the District Finals end of November and an MD Wide - National Awards Day in early December.

Take a look at The LIONS ROAR Website and do follow us on social media at  #lionsandkidzroar
